Elective Options
THE OPPORTUNITY TO PERSONALIZE YOUR TRAINING
Our solid core curriculum provides the essential educational components each resident needs to become a competent practitioner of internal medicine. Our broad range of elective options presents residents with the opportunity to custom-tailor their training to meet individual needs.
Our program devotes ten months to elective rotations and offers a wide range of primary care and subspecialty electives. On most electives, residents see patients in the ambulatory as well as inpatient setting and work closely with the attendings throughout the day. Directed readings, topic discussions and the opportunity to perform appropriate procedures represent important components of each elective.
