Application Information

The Internal Medicine Residency Program of York Hospital exclusively accepts applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).  We hold interviews from late October through mid-January.

USMLE scores (as available) are a required part of your application.  Applications received from recent medical school graduates will be considered first.

We sponsor H-1-B and J-1 visas.  Candidates considering H-1-B visas must pass all steps of the USMLE by March 31 or the resident will receive a J-1 visa sponsorship. U.S. clinical experience is desirable, but not mandatory.

The recruiting committee looks at these criteria to consider an applicant for an interview.  However, because of the volume of applications that we receive, we cannot guarantee that all applicants who meet these criteria will be offered an interview.
